At the start of my business coaching days, I created a personal mission statement that has guided me for over a decade. It answered the question: "If time, education, and money weren't a factor, what would you be doing?"
I use my confidence and my enthusiasm to authentically connect with others to allow my life to be filled with joyful travel and learning. I desire to serve others to create positive impact that spreads with both breadth and depth spanning countries and generations.
This question transformed my approach to life, and I now pose it to anyone seeking career/life guidance. While I can offer knowledge and suggestions, ultimately, only you can determine your path forward.
Post-Covid challenges and being a military spouse led my career into unexpected territory after being laid off from my Scrum Master role in January 2024. While I have continued pursuing certifications and roles in the business/project management realms, I began teaching myself art this year as a way to cope with the protracted job searching process. I consider myself resilient and readily share strategies to help others improve their own experiences.
I've spent my career public speaking about resilience, frustration tolerance, and business stewardship to build 100 year companies. Yet something isn't working—I suspect my resume and LinkedIn profile aren't reaching human eyes. Here, I'll demonstrate my excellence in a way that honors my effort and spirit, not the algorithms; a life in many directions.
Formal education will make you a living, personal education will make you a fortune.
The only person coming to save you is you.

Learning is not linear.
Multiple disciplines overlap. A study in Project Management not only allows an individual to gain vocabulary and strategies for strategic planning, it also benefits the artist with developing processes that streamline creativity and flow.

Nothing is finite. Everything ends.
Every master was once a beginner. No winning streak lasts forever. Neither does the losing streaks.

Recreations
As any practionier of any skill will tell you - repetition is how you grow. Revisiting early works to demonstrate growth and refined artistic vision.
Transparency is at the heart of my journey. I document both successes and failures, believing that sharing my learning process may help demystify the learning process of a new subject for others. Not just in art, but the learning process as a overarching concept.
